About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Highway Operations Specialist to join our team at Leicestershire County Council. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assisting with the design and delivery of strategic traffic management and safety-related schemes across Leicestershire.
This includes the implementation of Traffic Regulation Orders, ensuring effective communication with various stakeholders, and providing technical advice to diverse audiences. A key aspect of this role involves interpreting and writing technical reports, as well as offering expert guidance on complex highway operations matters.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently, and outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Additionally, they should have experience working with customers, handling complaints, and resolving issues effectively. Proficiency in IT software, including Confirm, is also essential for this position.
