We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, where you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients with complex needs.

About the Role

This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As an Occupational Therapist in our Critical Care team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating patients with complex physical and cognitive disabilities. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans that promote independence and rehabilitation.

Your Responsibilities

  1. To assess and treat patients with complex physical and cognitive disabilities, using evidence-based practice and client-centered principles.
  2. To develop and implement individualized care plans that promote independence and rehabilitation, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
  3. To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, using clear and concise language to ensure effective communication.
  4. To supervise and support occupational therapy students, ensuring they receive high-quality training and development opportunities.
  5. To participate in clinical governance activities, contributing to the improvement of patient care and outcomes.

Your Qualifications and Experience

We require an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in acute physical settings and neurology. You should hold a relevant qualification (Dip RCOT or BSc OT) and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Membership of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists (RCOT) is desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £40,257 - £54,835 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including pension scheme, annual leave, and access to employee assistance programs.
