Job Title: Building Control Inspector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Control Inspector to join our team at Adecco Property Services. As a Building Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that buildings are constructed and maintained in accordance with the Building Regulations and Associated Legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and enforce the requirements of the Building Regulations and Associated Legislation in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with building regulations and associated legislation.
  • Prepare statements of evidence on building regulation matters and provide expert witness testimony as required.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and consultation.
  • Manage and prioritize workload to meet statutory time limits and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Experience in building control or a related field, with a strong understanding of building regulations and associated legislation.
  • Registered Building Inspector with the Building Safety Regulator to a competency level no lower than Class 2b.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply building regulations and associated legislation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
