Chester Voluntary Action is seeking a motivated and experienced Counsellor to provide counseling services for individuals with neurological conditions and their carers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide counseling services to individuals with neurological conditions and their carers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carers, and other stakeholders
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized counseling plans
- Deliver counseling sessions and provide ongoing support
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
**Requirements:**
- 350 hours of post-qualification counseling experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Enthusiasm for the field of counseling and mental health
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and safeguarding procedures
