Counsellor (Part-Time) Opportunity

**Job Summary:**

Chester Voluntary Action is seeking a motivated and experienced Counsellor to provide counseling services for individuals with neurological conditions and their carers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide counseling services to individuals with neurological conditions and their carers
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, carers, and other stakeholders
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized counseling plans
  • Deliver counseling sessions and provide ongoing support
  • Collaborate with other professionals to ensure comprehensive care

**Requirements:**

  • 350 hours of post-qualification counseling experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Enthusiasm for the field of counseling and mental health
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and safeguarding procedures
