We are seeking a highly skilled Catchment Modeller to join our team in the Southern region. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects focused on catchment growth, identifying and reducing flood risks, and improving water quality for our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of catchment modelling and its application in the water industry. You will deliver projects which improve water quality, manage urban pollution, and contribute to Stantec's and our clients' environmental commitments.
You will provide guidance, training, and promote staff development and wellbeing within the discipline. You will assist with bids and the preparation of cost estimates within our project frameworks. The role will involve taking part in the planning, programming, and coordinating of urban drainage projects while ensuring delivery excellence, technical governance, and best practices are upheld.
The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including pension scheme, health insurance, and annual leave.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality urban drainage projects that meet client needs and expectations.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other modelling staff.
- Assist with bid preparation and cost estimation.
- Participate in the planning, programming, and coordination of urban drainage projects.
Requirements:
- Experience in catchment modelling and its application in the water industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of urban drainage design software and techniques.
