Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Endoscopy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the endoscopy service, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively, and providing expert advice and support as required.

Key Responsibilities

  • To manage the day-to-day activities of the endoscopy suite, including staff management, patient care, and equipment maintenance.
  • To work closely with the Theatre Manager to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
  • To develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the quality of patient care and safety.
  • To participate in the development and implementation of the endoscopy service strategy.
  • To provide specialist advice and support to patients and colleagues as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A nursing qualification (ENB906 or equivalent).
  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the independent sector.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions quickly.
