About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Duty Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Tesco. As a Duty Pharmacy Manager, you will play a key role in leading and developing our pharmacy team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the pharmacy team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient care and services, working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining accurate records and reports as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as security and stock replenishment, to ensure a smooth and consistent experience for customers and patients.
  • Support the Pharmacy Manager in building relationships with Primary Care Networks and GPs' surgeries, promoting the pharmacy's services and expertise.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy degree and membership of the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
