This is a full-time, permanent role within our Community Team for People with Learning Disabilities in the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. As a Learning Disability Support Specialist, you will play a vital part in helping adults with learning disabilities lead as full and fulfilling lives as possible.

You will work within a multi-disciplinary community team to support adults with learning disabilities and their families and carers to improve their lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carrying out assessments, undertaking care reviews, and supporting care planning are key responsibilities of this role.
  2. You will also participate in a duty rota to deal with incidents, safeguarding alerts, and information requests.
  3. Safeguarding investigations, capacity assessments, and best interest decisions relating to adults with a learning disability are essential tasks.
About the Role:

The estimated salary for this role is £37,080 - £40,788 per annum. You will be required to have experience of working in a health and social care environment and a good understanding of safeguarding protocols.
