Senior Underwriter Opportunity

About the Role:

  • Evaluate risks and set coverage and pricing for Casualty Treaty business sourced from Lloyd's brokers.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Casualty to drive portfolio growth.
  • Build and maintain a professional network with brokers and clients to support profitable business origination.
  • Track industry and market developments and provide strategic insights to clients.
  • Participate in underwriting audits and monitoring of account performance.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of current issues affecting the insurance and reinsurance industries in the Casualty line.
  • Travel to service customers and attend industry conferences.

About You:

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years' experience in progressively advancing underwriting roles in the insurance industry and/or in the reinsurance brokerage sector.
  • Strong broker and insurer contacts, with an excellent understanding of the Casualty insurance/reinsurance markets.
