Job Title: Night Shift Electrical Maintenance Engineer


Job Type: Full-time


About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Leicestershire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Respond promptly to machine failures and work with the engineering team to resolve issues efficiently
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and improve overall efficiency
  • Assist with installations and machinery/equipment assessments as required
  • Train production operators on the operation of site machinery and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety operating procedures and identify areas for improvement

Requirements:


We require an educated to HNC/ONC and/or NVQ Level 3 in electrical engineering or time served engineer with at least 3-5 years of relevant maintenance engineering experience. Sound knowledge of PLC Siemens experience and 3-phase control is ideal.
