We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5t driver to join our team at Kenect Recruitment. As a 7.5t driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive company vehicles responsibly and safely, adhering to traffic laws and highway code.
- Carry out daily and weekly vehicle checks, reporting any defects to the Transport Manager.
- Deliver and collect goods to our internal and external customers in a professional manner.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and collections using the company smartphone.
- Loading and unloading vans when required, ensuring e-codes are correct and product quality meets company standards.
- Collect money due on delivery/collection as instructed, with all monies collected remaining the responsibility of the driver until signed for by the Line Manager.
- Embrace sales campaigns and generate leads for the sales team.
- Maintain product knowledge to demonstrate to customers where necessary.
- Assist with Click & Collect, ensuring every customer receives an efficient hire experience and leaves feeling valued.
- Promote teamwork between colleagues, working closely with peers to ensure the best level of service is provided to the business and our customers.
- Ensure compliance with all systems, procedures, and processes.
- Represent the company and values of the business, portraying a professional image to all customers, potential customers, and other people met in the course of work.
- Experience of driving 7.5t lorries is required.
- Current C1 Licence required.
- Current Digi Tacho card required.
- Driver CPC card required.
- Competitive wages paid weekly.
