We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Network Engineer to join our team at Ballantyne Technology Associates Ltd.

About the Role

  1. Provide Expert Technical Support: Offer expert assistance to end-users and clients, troubleshooting network issues, and resolving them promptly.
  2. Network Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Continuously monitor network performance and swiftly address issues to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency.
  3. Security and Compliance: Ensure the security and integrity of our networks by implementing robust security measures and adhering to industry standards.
  4. Network Upgrades and Migrations: Participate in network upgrades and migrations, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
  5. SLA Monitoring: Be willing to participate in an on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays, to ensure continuous support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. CCNA, JNCIA-Junos, CompTIA Network+ or Equivalent Qualifications: Demonstrate your expertise in networking protocols and technologies.
  2. Good Understanding of Networking Protocols: Possess a solid understanding of common networking protocols and technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSPF, IPSEC, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi.
  3. Experience with Network Monitoring Tools: Familiarity with network monitoring and diagnostic tools is essential.
  4. Hands-on Experience with Network Troubleshooting: Proven experience in network troubleshooting and configuration.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary package, including an annual salary of £23,500 - £27,500, plus an on-call allowance of £4,000. We also offer a profit-share scheme and hybrid working arrangements.
