The Regulatory Enforcement Officer, Grade 8 role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to join our Trading Standards Investigations Team.

This position involves investigating alleged offenses across the Trading Standards function, gathering evidence, taking witness statements, conducting suspect interviews, and submitting thorough investigation reports.

We seek a candidate with exceptional investigative skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and protect vulnerable residents.

A comprehensive understanding of criminal law and procedures is essential, along with GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, a Trading Standards diploma or equivalent qualification, and/or relevant experience.

This hybrid role offers flexibility, with a balance of remote work and office-based duties. A driving license is mandatory.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately £43,000 - £53,000, depending on location and experience.
