Compliance Specialist

**Job Title:** Compliance Specialist
**Estimated Salary:** £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at Abel & Cole. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and be able to ensure that our products and site standards meet all relevant requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Food Safety & Quality Manual elements
- Conduct validation and verification testing, analyse data and produce summary reports
- Manage Document Control processes
- Conduct internal Food Safety audits and inspections and report results
- Collaborate with Operations teams to resolve non-conformances and food safety hazards
- Investigate and report on food safety incidents
- Train and support other teams in the use of the Safety Culture platform and app
- Support Compliance Supervisor in customer complaint investigations
- Verify due diligence records
- Monitor temperature monitoring systems and respond to out-of-spec alerts
- Collect and process samples
- Analyse and report on test results
- Upload ATP testing data to SureTrend system
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to develop and implement quality management systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
