Job Description

**Job Title:** Compliance Specialist
**Estimated Salary:** £35,000 - £45,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Specialist to join our team at Abel & Cole. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety regulations and be able to ensure that our products and site standards meet all relevant requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement Food Safety & Quality Manual elements
  • Conduct validation and verification testing, analyse data and produce summary reports
  • Manage Document Control processes
  • Conduct internal Food Safety audits and inspections and report results
  • Collaborate with Operations teams to resolve non-conformances and food safety hazards
  • Investigate and report on food safety incidents
  • Train and support other teams in the use of the Safety Culture platform and app
  • Support Compliance Supervisor in customer complaint investigations
  • Verify due diligence records
  • Monitor temperature monitoring systems and respond to out-of-spec alerts
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Collect and process samples
  • Analyse and report on test results
  • Upload ATP testing data to SureTrend system
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement quality management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
