Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Highway Delivery Project Manager to join our team at Triumph Consultants Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and deliver complex construction projects in accordance with project briefs and within constrained urban environments.
  2. Conduct surveys, investigations, and ensure that statutory notices are prepared and issued as required.
  3. Design, calculate, specify, plan, and draw highway maintenance works using Computer Aided Design and other specialist software.
  4. Visit sites to ensure contractors are undertaking work according to specifications and programmes, ensuring safe site operations and recording concerns.
  5. Manage financial and contract aspects of projects, focusing on timely delivery within budget.
  6. SUPervise resources and direct staff involved in executing projects.
  7. Communicate technical information effectively to clients, agencies, public, and stakeholders for effective service delivery.
  8. Apply current technical standards and specifications to identify cost-effective solutions to engineering problems.
Requirements
  1. HNC Civil Engineering or equivalent B.Eng (Civil Engineering) or related degree.
  2. Current Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., IOSH, Risk Assessment, CSCS).
Essential Skills and Experience
  1. Minimum 12 months recent experience in similar roles or contexts, preferably in the public sector.
  2. Experience in designing and implementing highway maintenance or improvement schemes.
  3. Extensive experience in supervising highway construction works in the UK.
  4. Knowledge and experience of applying DMRB/MCHW Specification for Highway Works.
  5. Preferably NEC4 accredited Site Supervisor or have knowledge and experience of undertaking the NEC4 Site Supervisor contract role.
  6. Experience with computerised systems, including AutoCad, Microsoft, Sign/Lineplot.
  7. Preparing Bills of Quantities and Tender Documents.
  8. Writing reports.
  9. Works ordering and certification for payment.
  10. CDM Coordinator role experience.
  11. Good working knowledge of highway design standards.
  12. Winter Maintenance and Out of Hours emergency operations experience.
  13. Able to work from various locations.
  14. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft packages or equivalent.

Salary: £23.99 per hour PAYE
