Job Title: Classroom Facilitator

Vancouver Community College seeks a skilled individual to join our team as a Classroom Facilitator, supporting instructors and enhancing the learning experience for students.

About the Role:

This role involves assisting classroom instructors with various tasks, including supervising students, preparing instructional materials, conducting demonstrations, and leading tutorials.

  • Collaborates with instructors to provide exceptional support services to students, promoting academic success.
  • Maintains accurate records of program materials and supplies, conducting regular audits.
  • Coordinates general administrative duties, prepares reports, and updates database of instructional resources.

Hourly Rate: $28.00 per hour.

Qualifications:

We are looking for an individual with:

  • Significant experience in community programs offering Sign Language instruction.
  • Strong proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English as a Second Language.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in computer software and audio-visual equipment.
Work Setting:

This position may require working across various VCC locations.
