Apprenticeship Standards Assessor

**Role Summary**

Forward Assist Recruitment is seeking a skilled Apprenticeship Standards Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our aviation training team, you will be responsible for assessing apprenticeship competence against current standards in a timely manner. Your expertise in aerospace engineering will be essential in supporting the development of our apprentices and ensuring they meet the required standards.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Assess apprenticeship competence against current standards in a timely manner
* Support centre-based workshop and hangar training as required
* Monitor and report acts of cheating and/or plagiarism found during assessment
* Support the development of programme enhancement activities
* Conduct 12-week progress reviews with learners using a reflective style of review
* Prepare and submit progress review reports to LRTT, Employers and Apprentices
* Complete 6-week interim support reviews with apprentices
* Manage a caseload of approximately 40 apprentices
* Attend quarterly standardisation meetings and training sessions

**Requirements**

* Minimum 5 years assessor experience, recent assessment of Apprentice Standards
* D32, D33, A1, AVA
* Level 3 Diploma in Engineering (Aviation) or equivalent
* Ability to achieve Enhanced DBS
* Up-to-date knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards
