Care and Companionship Worker

At Home Instead, we take a person-centred approach to care, focusing on the unique needs and preferences of each client. Our carers are trained to provide high-quality care and companionship, and we encourage them to develop new skills and knowledge through our comprehensive training programmes.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package, including an hourly rate of £13-£14.15 per hour, plus double pay for bank holidays. You'll also receive 34p mileage reimbursement and a Blue Light discount card, as well as out-of-hours support and a friendly, supportive team.
Job RequirementsAs a Domiciliary Care Professional, you'll need to possess the following qualities:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy and consideration
- Adaptability and flexibility
- A driving licence and access to your own vehicle (for most roles)
- Authorisation to live and work in the UK
