English Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English teacher to join our team at Wayman Group in Brighton. As an English teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping and developing students' language and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed on students' progress, fostering a strong partnership between home and school.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on educational policies, trends, and best practices in English teaching, participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in English or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Experience: Experience teaching English to primary or secondary students, with a strong knowledge of the English curriculum and teaching methods.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to inspire and motivate students, and adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
