Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a welcoming primary school in Crewe. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead groups in activities in core curriculum areas such as Phonics, Maths and Writing
  • Prepare resources and areas within the setting
  • Carry out assessments and record information
  • Assist in the daily routines for the children
  • Work with children on a range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors
  • Liaise with parents

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within a UK primary school
  • Level 2 (or above) Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools, Education Studies Degree or similar
  • Up to date Safeguarding and Prevent training issued in the last year

Eligibility:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional references covering the past 2 years
