The Diocese of Chichester is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to take responsibility for the production and distribution of its Link magazine. This volunteer role involves overseeing all aspects of the publication, from collecting articles to finalizing content.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with contributors, including the Diocesan President and Chaplain, to gather relevant articles.
2. Edit and refine articles to ensure their suitability for publication.
3. Work closely with the Sub-Editor to identify news stories and develop an engaging narrative.
4. Liaise with the designer to create a visually appealing and informative magazine.
5. Establish deadlines for copy submission and manage the content workflow.
6. Collate, proof, and finalize content for inclusion in the magazine.
7. Obtain quotations for printing costs and secure approval from the Treasurer.
8. Proof-read the draft and coordinate any necessary amendments.
9. Liaise with the Diocesan Administrator to produce labels and arrange distribution.
10. Assemble and package finished magazines for delivery at Council meetings.

Salary Estimate: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
