The Opportunity

We're seeking a Principal Data Scientist to lead a cross-functional team of data scientists and ML Engineers. As a senior member of our Data Science community, you'll mentor and guide more junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning. You'll drive an innovative R&D roadmap in close collaboration with a Senior Technical Product Manager to achieve clear business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of machine learning models and insights on large-scale data sets
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data science capabilities into production
  • Translate business goals into machine learning proposals that can be qualitatively and quantitatively evaluated
  • Research and apply state-of-the-art ML techniques to drive business outcomes
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience as a Data Scientist with a proven track record of delivering machine learning models and insights
  • Production-level coding proficiency in programming languages such as Python with experience in machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and Scikit-Learn
  • Strong knowledge of machine learning theory, including statistical methods, synthetic data creation, and modern deep learning techniques
