New Resource Recruitment is proud to partner with a leading food manufacturing business in Dorset to find a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and supervise contractors, working closely with the Facilities Manager and the Engineering team.
- Plan and deliver both reactive and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain and repair facilities equipment while adhering to GMP standards and safety protocols.
- Assist in delivering engineering projects and help drive innovation and improvements in the department.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are logged accurately using the company's systems (Epicor).
- Support procurement by assisting with parts and materials and help manage the engineering inventory.
- Proven experience in building maintenance or an engineering discipline, ideally in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic IT literacy and strong communication skills to liaise with internal teams and contractors.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and GMP/BRC standards (experience in food manufacturing preferred).
- Advantageous: Experience managing contractors and qualifications such as IOSH.
