About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Refining Operations Advisor to join our team at HSB Solomon Associates LLC. As a key member of our Solutions Delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality advisory services to our clients in the refining industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to drive performance improvement.
  • Project Management: Lead and manage projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Benchmarking and Analysis: Conduct thorough benchmarking studies and analyze client data to identify areas for improvement and develop recommendations for process enhancements.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide subject-matter expertise in refining production operations, including operations management, production operations, facilities engineering, maintenance, turnarounds, operations readiness, operations continuous improvement, health and safety, operating costs, and supply chain management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, business development, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum, or related engineering fields) or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 15+ years in the refining energy industry, with a strong background in operations management, production operations, and/or industry consultancy experience.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into practical solutions and recommendations. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships and deliver client-centric solutions.
