Role Summary: Graphic Designer
We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to work with our creative team at Returns office LTD. This role requires a professional with a passion for visual storytelling and expertise in transforming ideas into visually impactful designs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of design principles and be skilled in using design software to create high-quality graphics for digital and print media, effectively communicating our brand message across various platforms.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design Visual Concepts: Develop innovative and visually appealing designs for digital, print, and web-based materials, including social media graphics, brochures, posters, banners, presentations, packaging, and advertisements.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to create compelling visual content that supports marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Conceptualise and Develop Designs: Take conceptual ideas and turn them into engaging and effective visual solutions, from brainstorming to final execution.
- Design Digital Marketing Assets: Create assets for social media, websites, email campaigns, and online ads, ensuring responsiveness and optimal display across various devices.
- Illustration and Iconography: Create custom illustrations, icons, and infographics as needed.
- Typography and Layout Design: Apply expert-level typography and layout techniques to ensure high-quality design output across print and digital formats.
- Present Ideas: Present and pitch design ideas and concepts to internal teams and stakeholders and refine based on feedback.
- Stay Current: Keep up to date with industry trends, new design tools, and best practices to continually enhance design quality.
Requirements and Skills:
- Education: minimum level 2 qualification in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer or in a similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, etc.) and familiarity with video editing software (Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro) is a plus. Experience with web design and knowledge of HTML/CSS is preferred. Knowledge of UI/UX principles is an advantage.
- Creativity: Strong creative and artistic skills with a keen eye for detail, colors, typography, and layout.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and present ideas.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and offer design solutions.
Key Competencies:
- Creative and Artistic Ability: Strong creative skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics, detail, color, and layout.
- Technical Proficiency: Mastery of design and multimedia software like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro), as well as familiarity with 3D software and web design tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
- Adaptability: Ability to work with different styles and mediums, adjusting designs to meet the requirements of diverse projects or client briefs.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs and resolve any design-related issues.
- Communication and Presentation: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and the ability to clearly communicate and present design ideas.
- Time Management: Efficient at managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
