Job Title: Advocate

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Advocate to join our team at Keoghs LLP. As an Advocate, you will provide advocacy, advisory, and drafting services to our clients, working closely with senior members of the team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Undertake advocacy, drafting, and advisory work, including pleadings, interlocutory hearings, small claims, fast track trials, sanctions, and recoveries.
  2. Assist senior members of the team in delivering advocacy and litigation services.
  3. Assist in delivering advocacy and litigation training and updates for fee earners.
  4. Supervise and mentor junior Advocates.
  5. Undertake client-facing tasks and product development as required.
  6. Contribute to the development of our in-house advocacy team.
Requirements:
  1. Full practicing certificate (if Barrister) or Higher Rights of Audience (if Solicitor).
  2. Experience in insurance fraud, general PI, EL/PL, and/or professional negligence.
  3. Qualified Solicitor or equivalent.
  4. Excellent communication and writing skills.
  5. Tenacious and self-motivated individual.
