**Job Description:**

We are looking for a Probabilistic Modelling Specialist to join our team at The International Society for Bayesian Analysis. As a key member of our research group, you will contribute to developing innovative probabilistic models that can be used to make predictions and decisions in complex systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in probabilistic modelling, with expertise in developing and applying probabilistic models to real-world problems. Your research will focus on developing new probabilistic models that can be used to steer machine learning systems when goals are not precisely specified.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop probabilistic models that can be used to make predictions and decisions in complex systems
  • Apply probabilistic models to real-world problems, such as cancer research and remote medicine
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop new probabilistic models and applications

**Requirements:**

  • Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Strong background in probabilistic modelling
  • Excellent programming skills in languages such as Python or R
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries

**Salary:** £65,000 - £85,000 per annum
