Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Control Engineer to join our team at TS Tech Americas, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring the safe operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Implementation: Assist with new model activity, interact with customers and R&D teams, and design facility equipment and oversee installations.
  2. Facilities Management: Review current facility equipment needs, make recommendations for upgrades and capital improvements, and manage machinery and equipment installations.
  3. Process Optimization: Conduct time studies, provide feedback to management, and troubleshoot existing operations to achieve stated management objectives.
  4. Quality and Safety: Ensure safe operations, support development of 5S, TPM, and Kaizen programs, and establish and execute a monthly plan.
  5. Business Planning: Align daily control items with the company business plan and key objectives/metrics, and execute action items per the annual business plan.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of operations and engineering practices and procedures within a JIT manufacturing environment.
  • Good written, verbal, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Previous manufacturing/engineering experience is preferred.
