About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join our team at the Centre for Human Genetics. As a key member of our research group, you will be responsible for analyzing complex genomic and immunological datasets to advance our understanding of severe infections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and integrate -omic and multi-modal datasets to identify patterns and correlations in the human immune response
  • Develop and implement data management strategies to ensure high-quality data collection and analysis
  • Collaborate with our team to develop research questions and design experiments to address them
  • Conduct individual research and contribute to the development of research ethics approvals and processes
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of research activities and results
Requirements
  • PhD/DPhil in Genetics, Genomics, Statistical Genetics, Bioinformatics, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Post-qualification experience in genomics and data management
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a proven ability to think critically about scientific analysis
  • Demonstrable interest in the research described and a strong track record of research experience
