Job Opportunity:

Job Title: Skills Coach

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented professional to join our team as a Skills Coach. As a Skills Coach, you will play a key role in delivering and supporting our Supported Internship and Pathways programmes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective and professional relationships with learners, taking a strength-based approach in supporting them to achieve their learning aims.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping learners complete tasks, applying sound coaching techniques to ensure they develop the skills to thrive as independent learners.
  • Support Tutors to design and implement a learner's Individual Learning Plan (ILP), identifying and addressing gaps in knowledge, and providing numeracy, literacy, and digital support as well as in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working closely with vulnerable/SEN learners in an education or training setting.
  • Excellent support skills.
