Macildowie Recruitment and Retention is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Leader to join our prestigious client in Leicester. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing a team of three, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payment runs.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA and be looking for leadership opportunities. You will be ambitious, personable, and driven to develop leadership skills and have strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 3, ensuring high-quality work.
- Manage supplier payments and oversee the timely processing of invoices.
- Support process improvements, month-end reconciliations, and payment runs.
- Collaborate with UK and outsourced teams to meet key performance indicators.
- Train, mentor, and develop the team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
About You
- Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA, looking for leadership opportunities.
