Exceptional Interim Commercial Finance Director Opportunity

New Street Consulting Group (NSCG) is seeking an exceptional Interim Commercial Finance Director to join our team on a divisional level.

Key Objectives:

  • Within 6 months, provide the group CFO with a comprehensive understanding of the division's financial performance.
  • Support the divisional MD in driving significant performance improvements, both top and bottom line, within the same timeframe.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven business partnering skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong preference for a career pathway within commercial finance, with a focus on driving business growth and improvement.
  • Demonstrable history of balance sheet and cash flow improvements, as well as data-driven decision making.
  • Extensive experience in systems and process improvement, with a focus on driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • First-class planning, forecasting, and controls experience, with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Proven change and transformation practitioner, with the ability to drive cultural change and improvement.
  • Must be both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • We are particularly interested in speaking with Interims from highly complex Retail environments or Consumer Services.
  • High levels of resilience and adaptability, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Intellectually curious, with a passion for identifying and solving complex problems.
  • Engaging leader with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, even in challenging circumstances.
  • Availability to work 3 days a week on-site, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the business.
