Mobile Powered Access Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to join our team at Bennett & Game Recruitment. As a Mobile Powered Access Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and examining powered access equipment based from our depot in West Bromwich to cover the surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and service powered access equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Conduct PDI's, LOLER's, and small repairs as required
  • Keep accurate service and maintenance records up to date
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines in the workshop and on site
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance work
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of the equipment and its operation

Requirements

  • Experience and knowledge in a similar role would be beneficial
  • The ideal candidate will have experience within the access, crane, forklift, or motor industry along with a mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical background
  • IPAF CAP training desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
