Job DescriptionThe role will be to start in January 2025 and work as a job share. We are willing to offer either a KS1 or EYFS post in order to attract the best candidate we can find.
In this role, you will take joint responsibility in:
- Fulfilling the professional responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions document and meeting the expectations set out in the Teachers' Standards;
- High-quality teaching and assessment;
- Effective use of resources and environment;
- Excellent standards of learning and achievement for all;
- Effective leadership teaching assistant to ensure high standards by all;
- To provide emotional nourishment for all pupils – ensuring a child centric approach.
We are looking for someone with expert knowledge of the EYFS statutory framework and handbook / The Key Stage 1 curriculum.
You should have understanding of high-quality teaching and learning strategies in the EYFS/KS1, and the ability to model this for others and support others to improve.
Awareness of local and national organisations that can support delivering the EYFS is also essential.
We require someone who can build effective working relationships with staff and other stakeholders, adapt teaching to meet pupils' needs, build effective working relationships with pupils, and communicate a vision and inspire others.
Salary DetailsThe salary for this role is Experience dependent and falls within the MPS/UPS range.
