Are you curious about the aviation industry and its ambitious sustainability targets?

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as an Aviation Analyst at ICF, one of the world's leading specialist aviation consulting teams.

As an Aviation Analyst, you will have the opportunity to work across a range of service lines and geographies, building a strong aviation knowledge base before choosing an area of specialism.

Our team provides objective, independent commercial, financial, technical, and regulatory guidance across all aviation sectors globally.

We are looking for smart, energetic, and curious candidates who can apply their analytical and problem-solving skills to address the key strategic challenges currently facing the aviation industry.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Decarbonization of aviation through Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and the implementation of new UK and EU aviation policies.
  • Financial analysis and modelling, including building business plans as part of an aviation due diligence and comprehensive cashflow forecasting for aircraft valuations.
  • Airline operations, with first-hand experience secured through long-term onsite engagements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree educated from a reputable institution.
  • 1 year of work experience in relevant fields such as aviation, finance, operations, or strategy consulting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).
  • Strong analytical aptitude and working knowledge of analytical or quantitative methods.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written English communication skills.
  • Team player, able to work collaboratively with multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary teams and clients spread across different countries and time zones.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Python, SQL a plus but not essential.
  • Experience of using industry datasets a plus but not essential.
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite or travel abroad extensively for work as necessary.
  • Additional languages, particularly Spanish, a plus.
