Deputy Chief Financial Officer Opportunity

Altus Partners is pleased to partner with a leading investment platform in the search for a seasoned Deputy Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Group Finance Director to drive financial excellence in a newly created opportunity.

This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the financial landscape over the next 12 months, supporting the business and opportunity in a fast-moving and highly acquisitive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the CFO, CEO, and senior management to oversee financial operations and drive financial performance.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's objectives.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Manage financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide insightful analysis to drive decision-making and support strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee risk management strategies and internal controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior financial role within the finance services industry, upwards from Group Finance Director in similar size and scale.
  • Strong understanding of Financial Services, Wealth or Asset Management, regulations, and reporting standards.
  • Immediate availability or short notice period.
  • Solid grasp of financial analysis, forecasting, and risk management.
