Night Porter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Night Porter to provide exceptional security and customer service at The Springs Resort & Golf Club in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 44 hours of work across 4 variable days, including weekends and bank holidays. The working hours are 7pm-6am.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure the security of the resort, guests, and staff members.
• Deliver outstanding five-star customer service when interacting with guests and staff.
• Respond to out-of-hours phone calls and inquiries in a professional manner.
• Perform emergency maintenance and repairs as needed.
• Take responsibility for personnel, property, buildings, and accommodation.
• Patrol the resort perimeter to maintain security.
• Ensure the security of all buildings at all times.
• Provide support to guests staying in lodges and hotel rooms during out-of-hours periods.

Requirements:

• A night porter with similar experience is preferred.
• A current SIA license is desirable, but training can be provided.
• A positive work ethic and willingness to learn new skills are essential.
