Job Summary

We are seeking a Finance Apprentice to join our divisional Power business. As a Finance Apprentice, you will support our teams in delivering essential services 24/7/365 that really make a difference to local people and communities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of key control accounts
  • Supporting the divisional finance business partners where required
  • Preparing and posting accounting journals
  • Assisting with weekly P&L reporting
  • Ad-hoc data analysis
  • Producing accurate and timely sales applications

Requirements

  • A keen interest in pursuing a career in Finance
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Strong relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Planning, prioritisation and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and level of accuracy
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges
  • Passionate to work in a customer-focused environment
