Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Architect to lead our projects and technical teams. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing guidance to software team members through code reviews and mentorship, designing and diagramming software architecture, and collaborating with our world-class team to write maintainable, testable, and performant software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project/program-level leadership and determine the technology stack for the project/program in collaboration with the technical director and workstream leads.
  • Mentor the project team, providing feedback and guidance to technical staff, and identify risks to the project or technology team and discuss them proactively with the team.
  • Develop and deliver modern production-grade mobile applications in iOS, Android, or hybrid environments, utilizing native toolkits and hybrid frameworks such as React Native, Flutter, or similar.
  • Design and implement software architecture, ensuring it is scalable, maintainable, and meets the requirements of the project.
  • Collaborate with the team to improve software development workflows and processes, and stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience building and delivering modern production-grade mobile applications in iOS, Android, or hybrid environments.
  • Very strong programming skills and experience utilizing native toolkits in either iOS or Android.
  • Strong hybrid framework skills and experience using React Native, Flutter, or similar.
  • Advanced knowledge of core mobile principles, including UI implementation, common development frameworks, API integrations, testing, accessibility, and more.
  • A love for improving software development workflows and processes.
