Companion Care Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Home Health Assistant to join our team at Unity Care Solutions Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalized care to a 23-year-old client with complex needs, supporting her to live safely and comfortably in her own home.
About the ClientThe client requires support with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop a tailored care plan that meets the client's unique needs and preferences.
Key Responsibilities- Providing personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assisting with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe and comfortable movement
- Preparing meals and snacks, maintaining a healthy and balanced diet
- Encouraging social interaction and engagement, promoting mental stimulation and leisure activities
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also have opportunities to participate in ongoing training and professional development, enhancing your skills and knowledge in areas such as first aid, manual handling, and medication administration.
Requirements and Qualifications- Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year experience in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
