Job Description

p style=text-align:center;MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team in Solihull. Salary: £35,000 pro rata.

You will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of payroll data, working closely with our Payroll Controller to ensure seamless execution of monthly payrolls for 1500 employees.

  1. To process multiple monthly payrolls, including starter, leaver, amendments, absence, overtime, statutory payments, and pensions.
  2. Address discrepancies and queries related to payroll and resolve or escalate as necessary.
  3. Support monthly financial accounting requirements, generating reports, producing weekly/monthly payroll journals, and reconciliations.
  4. Manage the Company Pension Schemes, requiring experience with NEST.
  5. Raise monthly and ad hoc payroll-related payments.
  6. Process company cars/P11Ds and handle associated queries.
  7. Complete all company and year-end payroll processes.
  8. Support payroll/HR projects as required.
  9. Update payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, job title, and department/division transfers.
  10. Prepare reports summarizing earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and non-taxable wages.
Requirements
  • Be very experienced in Sage Payroll 50 and possess extensive knowledge of pensions schemes and auto-enrolment, with NEST experience an advantage.
  • Have advanced Excel skills and familiarity with MS Office programs.
  • Be able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Meet monthly payroll targets confidently.
