Lead Civil / Structural Engineer

Carbon60 is seeking an experienced Lead Civil / Structural Engineer to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our Infrastructure and Environmental team, you will play a crucial role in delivering large-scale Water projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of projects, acting as discipline lead within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Maintain client contact and ensure project delivery meets client objectives and requirements.
  • Ensure technical content of all work is correct and completed within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • Undertake project delivery tasks, including calculations, drawings, sketches, and reports.
  • Provide technical guidance, support, and training to colleagues, and assist in mentoring and development of others.
Requirements:
  • Honours degree in Structural Engineering or suitable equivalent degree.
  • Experience of working within a 3D design environment, with knowledge of design in common building materials.
  • Ability to work to BIM protocols and apply Engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Computer Aided Design and Modelling Packages such as Tekla.
