Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of private client matters, providing comprehensive legal advice to clients and ensuring their affairs are managed effectively.
  • Assist clients with drafting wills, lasting powers of attorney, and other related documents, ensuring that all legal requirements are met.
  • Liaise with clients, beneficiaries, and other parties involved in probate cases to ensure effective communication and understanding of legal processes.
  • Collaborate with other members of the private client team and provide support and guidance to junior colleagues, contributing to the ongoing development of the department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 3 years of PQE in private client law, with a strong understanding of legal concepts and procedures.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
