The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our Southern Region team as an Agricultural Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with and supporting our feed trials and harvest team. This includes all net, pen, and mooring set-up, maintenance, equipment installation, and fish transfers.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A coxswain's license and a valid driver's license
An eye for detail and the ability to work with tight deadlines
Good communication skills
The ability to work as part of a small team
Experience in aquaculture, marine farming, or working on the water is desirable but not essential
A copy of your driver's license must be submitted upon application.
It is an inherent requirement of this position that work be performed safely while upholding Huon's Values. The appointed person must be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders. Knowledge of work health and safety regulations is preferred.
