Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team at IDEX Optical Technologies - CVI Infrared Optics. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and advising on health and safety legislation, promoting a positive health and safety culture, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
  2. Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  3. Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
  4. Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
  5. Collaborate with the HR team and managers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
