The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and advising on health and safety legislation, promoting a positive health and safety culture, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular health and safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and best practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and recommend measures to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with the HR team and managers to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive health and safety management system to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as occupational health and safety or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in health and safety management, preferably in a similar industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
