Learning Disability Advocate

We are currently recruiting Support Workers to join our team in Leigh-on-Sea, where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support to help our service users achieve their goals. By doing so, you'll be playing a crucial part in enhancing their quality of life and promoting independence.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the needs of our service users.
- Positive attitude towards individuals with learning disabilities, with a commitment to understanding and respecting their unique needs.
- Full-time or part-time positions available, with flexible hours based on availability.
We operate 24-hour care services, with rotas prepared at least four weeks in advance to allow you to plan your personal and social life.
- Day shifts: between 07:00 and 22:00.
- Sleep-in opportunities available, offering an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.
Please note that all roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
Due to the nature of this service, we are looking for female-only applicants.
Employee Benefits:- Estimated salary range: £21,000 - £26,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time) and a variety of benefits, including pension and holiday buying options.
