Financial Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and ambitious Financial Controller to join our dynamic team at Anderson Clark. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the finance function, including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Develop and implement effective financial planning and budgeting processes to drive business growth.
- Lead the company's annual sales forecasting, stock purchasing, and budgeting processes.
- Design and prepare monthly management information (MI) reports and KPIs.
- Maintain the 3-year financial forecasting model.
- Oversee sales and stock flow forecasting models.
- Manage treasury and cash flow reporting.
- Lead the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors.
- Oversee and control the year-end stock take.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales analysis and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
- Oversee company IT facilities and coordinate with external IT support.
- Contribute to other ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
- Significant post-qualification experience in a similar role.
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with non-financial staff, senior management, and the board.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Business Central ERP system and advanced Excel skills advantageous.
- Experience with Power BI or similar financial modelling software advantageous.
