Orthotist Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients and healthcare professionals
- Manage and coordinate patient care, including assessments, treatments, and follow-up appointments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices in prosthetics and orthotics
Requirements:
- BSc (Hons) degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in prosthetics and orthotics
Working Arrangements:
This is a bank position, and the successful candidate will be required to work across various locations in Argyll and Bute. A car is required for travel between locations, and the use of NHS Pool cars is available when possible.
