Skilled Tradesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled Skilled Tradesperson to join our team in the North of England. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Heavy Industry or Process Manufacturing and be looking to develop new skills and advance their career.

Our client is a leading manufacturer of wheat derivatives, producing starches, sweeteners, proteins, and alcohol for major food and industrial sectors worldwide.

• Provide Electrical and Instrumentation repair and maintenance services.
• Operate the Electrical Generation Plant, Peaking Generators, Steam Raising Plant, and Water Treatment Plant efficiently and safely.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Running day-to-day operations of Boilers, Gas Turbines (CHP plants), and Reverse Osmosis skids.
• Monitoring boiler and water treatment plant conditions and adjusting settings as required.
• Liaising with Engineering and Production departments regarding breakdowns and routine maintenance.
• Carrying out planned, predictive, and reactive electrical maintenance of the plant.
• Fault finding, testing, calibration, installation, and commissioning of process instrumentation.

• A competitive salary based on experience (£64,500 per annum).
  
  
• Pitman Shift Schedule: 28-day rotational cycle in which each employee works 14 12-hour shifts (both days and nights).
