Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and caring individual to join our team as an Assistant Service Manager in a Residential Service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs. Located in Colwyn Bay, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and make a real difference in the lives of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Manager and have joint responsibility for managing the team and the service.
  • Planning rotas, management of staff teams, and ensuring compliance within the service.
  • Encouraging independence and supporting individuals to make their own choices.
  • Ensuring the safety of the service users and following care plans for each individual.
  • Participating in activities such as arts, crafts, gardening, and day trips.
  • Varying levels of personal care.

Requirements:

  • NVQ or QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care and willing to work towards Level 3.
  • Senior Support Worker Experience.
  • Must be resilient and have a drivers license due to the nature of the role.
  • Candidates must be happy to do personal care.
